What pisses you off while you listening music?

  Something else I hate:
Sometimes, there are sound in the middle of the song that make me think there is some noise going on in the outside world.  No matter how many times I listen to some of these songs, I never get used to that.

That happens to me all the time! Like when it sounds like a phone ringing or someone knocking on a door or calling out to you in the background.

I've been listening to my headphones (which I usually do while walking to class or on the bus) and suddenly turn my head and look around for a noise I had just heard, which turned out to be my music. People must think I'm weird

This SOOO much, when I had my HP 100 I was in my PC class, and I freaking swear there was like a little pop noise in this EDM track. Sounded like the guy behind me had a serious issue with his machine... I must have drove him nuts. I turned around like 6 times, then finally just inspected his machine. DUring the inspection [without my cans] it dawned on me it was the MUSIC and the headphones xD

Those airlines who still insist on all electronics turned off for take-off and landing.  Usually worst when starting to descend as I can almost guarantee I'll be in the midst of a really good album/track ......

As a frequent long distance flyer it can be very annoying ......

Someone was in disbelief that I paid $65 for headphones.  I'm just gonna rub the V-Modas in her face, because she commented on the loudness of my current ones.

Being the only audiophile in west virginia must be hard

I hate it when a band comes on and I get a lose streak in fifa..

So far, I've found one person who has an interest in higher end headphones.  This person is thinking about buying the HD 59#, and it's great to know that there are others like me in this cold, depressing place.

Haha chill man. I like the HD59x series. Warm enjoyable sound and soo comfortable.

You might want to try a tube amp with your akg's. They sound less depressing that way :D

I grew up in western Virginia, right next to West Virginia. Haven't been there in forever. I miss the beautiful mountains!

I've gone to other places, and I'm kind of amazed how much area you can see around you.  Over here in West Virginia, you're kind of closed in at any point, unless you're on the top of a mountain.  Though, as an adaptation of living in West Virginia, we've become very specific with delivering directions.
Something else about this place, the schools suck.  They really do.  I once told someone my school's academic score, and they replied,
"Eww."
My least favorite thing about this place, everyone seems to enjoy three genres more than any other.  Mainstream pop, mainstream rap, and mainstream country.  Three things I despise, because they simply never even hit close to the mark with me.  I enjoy well mastered music from most genres.  I've heard amazing pop songs (Blackgryph0n & Bassik), amazing rap songs (Mic the Microphone), but never any amazing county songs (closest I have to country is acoustic [Garrison Urich}).  I don't know how so many people can enjoy a song just because it comes from a abyssal fidelity transmitter that  makes literally everything on it sound like crap.
Anyway, back on topic, I hate it when I'm in the middle of listening to a good song that I've never heard before, and something just has to interrupt the new addition to my library, making the experience incomplete, and imperfect. That might be the most annoying thing.
It's also angering when I'm scrolling through the YouTube comments, and I just happen to click on something by accident, and the music just stops, because of my mistake.

It seems to have died down now, but a fair while ago there was this thing of having a really long gap (about 7-8 minutes) of silence after the 'last' track had finished and then the 'bonus' track would kick in.

With regards to the listening to the same six albums, I try to vary it as much as possible by listening to at least one different or new album a day.  Don't always succeed but I'm getting better at it.

Oh and that all time favourite of loving an album to death and then not be able to listen to it for awhile because you are sick of it.

Oh, man..I know what you mean. How about songs that are just silence? An album I like has a song called, 'Schweigeminute.' It is literally a minute of silence! But it actually has meaning, because the album, well, praises fallen soldiers. Following the minute of silence is a bonus track, by the way

Speaking of listening to new albums, one thing that pisses me off is that I sometimes just don't "get" albums when I listen to them for the first time. I wake up the next morning not remembering the music, so I listen again.
And eventually, the album gets old...And that pisses me off too.

I have CDs like that. Some software can rip (or edit) the song so that it ends when the silence begins, and then put the bonus track into a new file.

On a sad note my dog Died :/ I wondered why he was making SO much noise <.< I do miss him barking every time a good album started up *sigh*

with regards to neighbors, mine likes to use his power tools at 9pm :/ which is fine except when I'm jammin out to some industrial metal, I have to stop every 5 mins and figure out "is this in the song or from the neighbor" <.< so headphones with REALLY amazing sound stage, CAN get annoying when you start to think your hearing thigns xD

I tend to have a good assortment of albums on my player and change them out roughly every month or so. Or at least that is usually the plan but no matter how much I want to follow the philosophy I tend to only free up like 10gb of space on a 32 card because I start to look through the albums I did have and boy you get attached to some of them!
One of my peeves that has already been mentioned before is being snuck up on. With customs on one literally becomes disconnected from the world and my family knowing full well I can't hear a thing. Once my dad came up at tap me on the shoulder whilst I was deeply singing along to what was probably some trance and concentrating on a new origami piece. I swear I haven't yelled that loudly and felt that kind of terror in quite a while.
