Hello All,

I am currently using the Shure SE215s which I got about a year ago. They sound good but a bit bassy for me.

I would like to upgrade as I find myself listening to more and more music due to the quality sound of a good pair of IEMs.

I was thinking of the DUNU DN-1000s or DN-2000s or maybe the EarSonics SM64.

I would really like to know what people think of the sound quality and comfort of these models are? If there is another one that really fits the bill better I am open to looking them up too.

My primary needs are: Excellent sound quality (Bass or vShape are my sound type) and comfort. I have been leaning towards the DN-2000 but I read that they may be a bit heavy?

I know that this kind of question is really a personal opinion and different from person to person but narrowing the field is really what I am looking for. Price range is up to $400ish.

Any information will be much appreciated. Thanks in advance!

I went from the SE215 to the DN1000. Fantastic upgrade. I think it would fit your V shaped desires. I have read but cannot confirm the DN2000 is more analytical then the warm DN1000. Coupled with the iBasso DX50 I have been immensely satisfied with my portable setup. Even more fun when I throw in the C5 amp with bass boost although that bit is certainly not necessary for enjoyment and not so convenient on dog walks.

Genres: alt rock, EDM, classic rock, punk, new wave/post punk, indie, folk, folk rock, smattering of others.
