Hey guys I currently have a pair of Sony MDR-XB500 so I clearly am a bass head I haven't been able to find a thread comparing the two models in the title and was wondering which you would prefer. I know the srh750's have been criticized for poor durability and would like to take this into consideration. I am running a Fiio e11 amp and right now while I love my sony's the amp overpowers them and distorts the bass was wondering which of the two would be able to handle the power better and give me earth shattering jaw dropping bass. I love to make beets by dre look like toy headphones and would love other recommendations but I will warn that I'm not an audio technica fan because of their lack of bass and not having a detachable cord.
