So, i'm really close to buy them (loved my m-80) but id first would like TO ask some questions
1) will i need an amp? If so, wich one do you recommend?
2) How do they compare to m80?
3) Is it suited for muy music taste (IDM, synthwave, prog rock, jazz, hip hop)

1) No, but amps help. Anything FiiO should work fine.
2) Deeper, better controlled (but not as thumping) bass, better (sparkly treble extension), more laid back mids.
3) Yes. They suit all kinds of music fine. A jack of all trades. Classical and live recordings won't sound as crisp.

I also have video reviews of the V-80, XS and M-100. You can find them by clicking on my signature on the desktop Head-Fi site.
