This was a project that started together with Casper Aug 8th as an idea and today about a month later has become a reality. Unreal professional work done by casper. Able to take all the ideas I had and put them into my new favorite headphone.

Absolutely LOVE these headphones.

What started as a pair of Takstar 2050

With some work (abridged)

Stock 2050 Drivers

Transplanted Audio Technica Ad2000 Drivers.

Has turned into this

Some of the most comfortable pads ever.

And with less weight then a pair of beyerdynamic 990

Casper picked the perfect grill for this project.

Casper after creating the MS2000's for me had to make his own as a single sided detachable cable version.

I absolutely LOVE the sound that is coming out of these. It's everything the Denon 2000's should have been. The lows/mids and highs are as close to balance as I've personally heard. Able to listen to the old trio (Beethoven,Bach & Mozart) and be convinced I'm there and then switch to dubstep and get that deep roaring bass. Where these headphones really shine is fast music like Drum & Bass. Ultra fast with deep/powerful/textured bass. The trumpets while playing Louis Armstrong, sound so lifelike. Needless to say I really like these headphones. I only have 8 hours so far so I'm sure I suffer from "new toy-itus." I will update this in a couple of weeks when I'm able to listen to all my music and do a direct a/b comparison to my other headphones.

Would love to see you there. If you do I'd love to listen to the AD1k's. For some reason the 1k's be it A, AD or W get very little love.

Well sadly if I Fly up to NE for the meet, the Full Size cans have to stay home. As I'm not having them in the back of a plane, I've had to much stuff melt back there. So I'd be carrying what ever gear I brought, which limits me to the open back portables
