I`m looking for a desktop amp, with DAC, to use with my Mac.
 
They are great headphones, but a bit lacking in bass, and overall soundstage. I am running them through the computer right now, so I know its not working to its full potensial. 
 
 
I am currently looking at the Musical Fidelity M1 HPA. Anybody tried these two togheter?

A desktop unit will certainly help the T5p significantly in my experience, but you will always have vocals louder than the bass.  That's how the headphone is tuned.
