Are you OK with open cans (they leak sound and isolate poorly)?  Grados are open but easy to drive.
 
Describe the sound signature that you are seeking?  Grados in their SR line have a distinct house sound.  Most find them to be best with rock and electric blues.  Even with the enhanced bass of the new "e" models, most find them to be basss lite for rap and too intimate (small--as though you are sitting on stage with the band/musicians) of a sound stage for classical.
