Is there anything that I will have worse if I get the E10M ? Even though I have no personal Apple products, I'm still willing to pay a few extra $$$ for this, it's barely more expensive than the original E10, so if I only benefit from having E10M instead of E10, I will get it.

I've read somewhere (http://www.bestearphonesguide.co.uk/blog/soundmagic-e10-vs-e10m/#.U9ZAwRG2UiA)(not sure how to embed a link into a phrase) that the Play/Pause buttons and the microphone on E10M works no matter what, but the volume buttons are only compatible with Apple products. A few other sources seem to contradict this though, and I'm not sure what is true.
 
Some comments on Amazon (http://www.amazon.co.uk/product-reviews/B00788WTII)(the few top ones include some) say that the E10M has some problems, faults that E10 does not and they made me doubt.

Just imagine they are the same price each - which ones would you get?
