I have a grand to throw around and want to get some nice IEMs.  I spend 4-8+ hours per day listening to my SE215s at work currently (laptop as source, no extra fancies).  I'm comfortable with the shape and design of the 215s in terms of fit so logically I've been looking at the 846.  I like to listen to music along the lines of Steely Dan and pay a lot of attention to instrument detail.
 
The main options that are showing up on my radar are the SE846, JH11/13 and the W60 (based on price).  Is there any obvious ranking among these given the fact that I will not be using an amp or DAC outside of my laptop?
