So this started out as trying to find a gaming headset but after 4 failed attempts at that I have decided to go for a good pair of headphones with a separate mic.  I originally tried 2 pairs of g930's, g35s, and Vengeance 2100.  Three attempts at wireless and one wired.  g930's had connection issues and when I attempted to listen to music they sounded horrible.  The g35s were better but were not comfortable.  The 2100's were decent but again uncomfortable.

As I said this started out going for a gaming headset but I would like them for music and movies also and after trying to listen to a some music with a little base all of those I tried failed horribly.  So I am taking some advice I have seen around to give up on headsets as they are not capable of handling both functions on a decent level.

So this will be used for Gaming, Music, and Movies.  I mainly listen to Alternative metal, post-grunge, hard rock, nu metal, Electronica, glitch, synthpop, industrial, Breakbeat, dubstep, drum and bass, trap, or at least that is how Wikipedia classifies the artists I listen to.  I really wouldn't have any idea how to classify them as I have never cared enough to pay attention.  I like what I like and I don't need to know the names until now it seems.

I am looking for something in the range of $100-$200.  This is my first and possibly my only purchase of good headphones so I would like them to last.  Granted if after getting a good pair I decide I have been missing out all along I may continue.

I have gone through the guide of entry level headphones and read a bunch of reviews on many different styles.  What I have decided is they must be closed back as isolation is very important to me, both stopping sound from getting in and out.  They must also be circumaural as on ear are far to uncomfortable for me.

These are the ones I have limited it down to, well kind of limited its still (5/6) pairs.

I would love it if they were good at spatial positioning as I will use them for FPS gaming a lot.  I would classify my other use would probably more "fun".  I am not using them to do anything other than enjoy games/music/movies.  I am not doing any sort of audio work.  Noise canceling would be nice but they need to be able to be both passive and active as I don't want to lose sound if the batteries die (I believe both the MDR10RNC and UE6000 support both modes).  Granted I also don't want to sacrifice too much quality by going noise cancelling, but I am coming from some crappy $10 in ear buds so anything is probably going to sound better.  When I am listening to dubstep I do like to listen louder with a good amount of bass.  Portability isnt a major concern as I will mostly use them in home but it would be nice if they were portable enough to at least use on my trip to Ireland in two months.  Other than that I dont see myself taking them out of the house that often or ever.

These will be powered solely by laptop or Galaxy S3 cell phone (soon to be S5, One M8 or G3).

Any help would be greatly appreciated as this is all new territory and I am just trudging though it the best I can.

If the spatial positioning wasn't as much of a factor would that make it easier to find a good pair of headphones?  I mean I don't play competitively so it isn't that big a deal it was just nice to have.  I am also comparing it to the G930 so I don't know where that falls in terms of good spatial position but that was plenty for me to be happy.  Sadly the sound on them was horrible.
