Hello, I am one of those silent followers  but I need to ask for specific help. I have an upcoming surgery for which I will stay about 7 days in the hospital. I know how it goes and would love to buy some noise cancelling ones but at this point I rather not have to worry about batteries and such. I would rather focus on something inexpensive but very very comfortable since I might end up sleeping with them. Suggestions? thanks in advance.....

Maybe the Audio Technica ATH-M40X?  There's also the M30X and M20X but I really don't know anything about them other then that they are very inexpensive.

What is your budget? Inexpensive means different things to different people :)

What devices will you be plugging your headphones into?

How much time do you have? Can you get a headphone that might need to be imported?

Sorry. Not sure what's best at $70. NVX XPT100s have been fluctuating between $80 and $100 on Amazon. They are uber comfortable with good isolation. Same cups/drivers (same sound) as the Brainwavz HM5 and Fisher FA-003 that are highly rated here on Head-Fi, only more expensive:
