Right channel dead in my ATH-M50

Hey guys, new to the forum so forgive any posting faux pas!
 
All of a sudden today I've found that the right channel in my Audio Technica M50s is dead.It appeared to be working fine yesterday but having just plugged them in to my computer and my phone, I'm getting no sound out of the right ear. I was just wondering if anyone had advice on what to do to try to diagnose or fix the cause of the problem.

Should be a easy fix , its unlikely that the solder connection went loose inside the housing , although it is possible to do that if you play it at ridiculous volumes , otherwise replace the plug .... this is a good place to start - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wYH1KZ_14uE
