Hi,

I am currently looking for an integrated amplifier. I primarily listen on IEMs, but there is a possibility that I will add a pair of passive speakers to my desktop setup in the near future.

Basically something like NuForce Icon 2 or Audioengine N22 - but I would like to know if there are any other similar models around.. with a reasonable small footprint that would sit nicely next to a laptop.

or I could do away with a compact sized speakers amp that will take RCA or line input from another DAC/headphone amp..


My budget is < $1,000.. preferably under $800. Any recommendations would be welcome.
