  1. Audiophile++ quality
  2. Portable
  3. Over-ear {Circumaural} or on ear design {Supra-aural}
  4. Extreme comfort level {could be wearing for up to 16+ hours}
  5. Sound type needs to be optimized for all uses {Hardcore gaming, High fidelity Multimedia (Movies Music TV etc.) and general purpose use} [would that mean "reference sound"?]
  6. High SNR, preferably 100db or better
  7. Large frequency range {15hz to 25,000hz (25khz) or better if possible}
  8. must be usable on mobile devices
  9. Volume levels i like are right at or below the threshold of safe levels {80db i think}

and I think that just about covers it, if there is ANYTHING i missed i need to know so i can post a preference(if i have one)

You do know that SNR does not apply to headphones right lol? And having a frequency response that goes up to 25khz does not make it sound better since most people cannot hear past 20khz.

Portable rules out a lot of options, but the DT1350 or the HD25 would be some good choices although they probably would not be comfotable enough. If you are fine with open headphones, then the ATH-AD900 is a good choice but they are not portable at all. They are, however, quite easy to drive though.

I would hazard to guess that such a headphone would not exist at that price point. Most of the "Audiophile quality" cans with reference sound would be non portable or open cans at that price, the ones that are portable are not necessarily the most comfortable.

If what you desire was possible we'd all be using them. Sadly...

  Beyerdynamic DT-770s would be a good place to start.

I Want Open Back headphones, i hear they have better sound placement and a more open soundstage, AKA better for gaming, and i don't care if people can hear my audio, if they don't like it that is their problem.

Very tough ask!

Possibly the Philips X1s?  Haven't heard them but they get good reviews and might be OK in a mobile setup.

OK guys after doing some research I've got it narrowed down to 3 headphones (phew)

SoundMAGIC HP200
Philips Fidelio X1/28
Sony MDR-MA900

can someone give me an IN DEPTH 3-way comparison of these headphones? and overall which one i should go with for my preferences (hardcore heavy gaming and moderate multimedia)

Edit: please add the AKG 545 to the mix

Just buy all three of them from amazon, post an in depth review, and then return the 2 you don't like :)
