Radio Shack has a limited selection of Complys.  I just went to my local store and what I had previously purchased was gone, so I ordered two packs from Comply.

Are these good without any AMP/DAC? Mainly for PC usage.

Don't need additional amping - ridiculously easy to drive, and quite sensitive as well.  Only issue you might have is with output impedance if going directly from PC.  As you don't list PC components, it's hard to tell.

It looks drive easily but I think it loves the power

Do you actually own one?

Hi,

Ordered a pair of Fidue A83:s, how does these compare to my current pair of Sennheiser IE8 (which I now have owned for a bit over 3 years)

I would like some more treble, more pronounced mids and a little less boomy bass. I seem to have understood the A83:s might be the right direction. But have quite little experience with $300+ IEMs, so would be glad of any and all feedback in my decision :)

  Hi,

Well I have never compared the IE8 and the A83, but I have used the IE80 and currenty own the Fidue a83. The Fidue A83 is more detailed, has more natural timbre and tonality, not as bassy but probably has more accurate bass than the IE80. The IE80 is one of the best IEMs I had used up till I received the SM64 and the Fidue A83. The IE80 is very enjoyable and though it is bassy it still has a great sound stage and sounds nice and clear. The A83 has great bass extension and nice impact and good slam for when the recording is meant to have it. Nice smoother mid range, decent stage and good separation, really nice clarity, better treble extension and detail retrieval. I would say they are two different IEMs and are both enjoyable but technically the A83 just sounds more versatile and detailed. The IE80 is a good Iem if you can find it for around 200-300 but the a83 IS  a great IEM for that price range. This i s all subjective of course. The sm64 is also another fantastic IEM I happen to love both.Hope this helps you with your decision.

It took a few tips and time, but I find the tips of the Philips SHE3590 to work perfectly for me. Way more comfortable than the stock tips and easier to get a seal.

I find the M-sized Spiral Dot JVC tips to fit like a glove for me. The wide bore opens up lots of details as well. Just purchased them here in Japan on my short vacation. Such a great experience to audition so many ear and headphones. But, that is already OP. :p

I received my order from Comply...good recommendation ...thanks to the thread.  I also want to thank the thread for the recommendation of these iem's.  They have opened up and I enjoy them much. If you look at my profile you will see what I have and have had and these will stay in my collection for now and are presently my daily driver when I use iem's. It is difficult to have a favorite between A83 and FX-850. Maybe I will do a comparison soon.

I was part of the Australian review tour. A last minute addition to the group.

So would you buy them with confidence?
