Looking for good starter headphones in the 100 dollar range to listen to hip hop / reggae

Hi,
 
I'm trying to get into the world of good quality headphones with a budget of around 100 dollars, I have heard alot of good things about the Grado sr60i headphones and I would like to hear some advice !
 
I mainly listen to hip hop and reggae and plan to use the heaphones on my commutes to work so sound isolation would be preferable.

I don't use IEMs very often, but I have these for when the need arises. Good bottom end, I always dart right to something like Flying Lotus when using them.

No problem -- though I would take it upon yourself to read reviews and impressions of other gear here, there's a lot of very good information if you can weed through some of the favoritism.

I'm looking into House Of Marley headphones, do any of you know if they are any good or just using the name of the king to sell bad headphones ?

Some models are trash and others are really good.

I have the Dolphins. Very good headphones for $100.

However, some people looking for bass might be disappointed as the boost is centered in the subbass region. I like that a lot, but some people look for the bass boost to extend into the upper midbass.

I like my Grados, but I would never choose them for portability, and would probably not recommend them for reggae and hip hop.

I finally decided to go with the house of marley Exodus heaphones after reading several good revues.
 
Thank you all for your help ! I'll be coming back with feedback once I get them
