I have gotten this headphone system which includes a tube amp and cost me about $1050. It was the best system I had ever heard even before the tube amp burnt in, but once the tube amp burnt in it was good be on my beliefs of what was possible when listing to recorded sound. However because the cost was not spectacularly high by headphone system standards I have to think even better sound is possible. With Perhaps high and solid-state amplifiers or tube rolling, but will not be convinced until or if I could hear the very same files I am listening to with my present system with others. So will this be possible at the ROCKY MOUNTAIN AUDIO FEST 2014.
