The ES100 is the latest earbuds from HIFIMAN.
 
Specs:
Impedance: 150 ohm
Driver size: 15mm
Sensitivity: 113dB/mW
Frequency Response: 15Hz - 20kHz
 
The ES100 is available now for RMB 399 on Taobao, or USD $69 from Penon Audio.

^^ Not really. The ES100 is an entirely new product.
 
My guess is that it will be priced at around $250-300.

Interesting. 
 
Everything has been about IEMs and not much attention has been given to earbuds. Wonder how HiFiMAN will tune it.

Sorry I think I simply misunderstood what Fang said...  He said "he's gonna apply for some patent(s) for the ES100 tomorrow (that's today), and that he'd post some pictures after".
He probably meant posting pictures after the application process has been successful. I guess this will take a while...

No official announcement yet, but Fang did post a picture of the ES100 in a short article he wrote (about the history and evolution of earbuds + some design considerations of the ES100)
 
From that article, the ES100 appears to be high-sensitivity high-impedance (150 Ω)
