Newbie here, first post, hi all!

The new Oppo headphone amp has toroidal transformer(s) and linear regulator(s). That suggests to me that it isn't multi voltage but I'm no expert. The rear case says 110-120v  230-240v, that suggests maybe. Would a US model work in the UK without transformer?

Cheers

The Oppo HA-1 is priced at $1200 in the US.
The Oppo will cost approx £1200 when it is launched in the UK.
£1200 is $2000.

I'm guessing the answer will be:
"Be a good boy and buy the HA-1 in the UK and you don't need to worry about the voltage"

Not a definitive answer guys, but the HA-1 will soon be available in Australia (we're patiently waiting on our pre-order). Australia is on 240v. The Oppo disk players have a 110/240 switch on the back.

The images I've found of the Oppo HA-1 don't show a switch, but I'd be surprised if they don't have one, I suspect is will be "under the hood". It's expensive making two versions of a product intended for global distribution.

Looking forward to a definitive answer.
