Now the firmware is based on Android 4.4 but we plan to upgrade to 5.0 when it is released in next year.

it looks nice, but i have a question.

as i seen on the first page, the output jack will change with the amp module.. so, i will not have access to the best amp of x7 if i will be using 3.5mm headphones? this would be a problem for me, and for most of the market, as almost all headphones are shipped with 3.5 or 6.3 jacks..

The amp modules will be single ended with a 3.5mm jack or balanced with a 4 pin balanced connector.  There is no issue.

will i be able to use the 3.5 jack with all amp modules?

You can't (and wouldn't) use a 3.5mm jack with a balanced amp module.  There is no point.  One is single ended and one is balanced.  You'd need a balanced cable, and your headphones would need to be balanced as well.

Necessary question here - and I'm not trying to be "smart" or citical - do you know/understand the difference between single-ended and balanced topologies?

surley not! i understand that there are two jacks, one for 3.5 and one for balanced

the balanced ending has 2 lines for each side,
the 3.5 has instead of one for each side and a ground

i am asking if i will be able to enjoy all modules with 3.5, as i do not own any balanced cables yet, and they are a long way before they will come to romania. considering what i own, and what will own, i understand that any headphone can use balanced output as long as there are cables supporting that. this might be me being stupid...

i just want to make sure that i will be able to use the full potential of the player with my headphones, all of which have 3.5 jack. i read quite a lot on that, because i wanted originally to buy ak240 with balanced roxannes, but before, i never considered balanced.
