BTW, just make a decision that the screen will be 3.97 inch and 800X480. not the best but reasonable cause we are not SONY/APPLE/SAMSUNG who can use what every screen they need.

good idea. But the most important thing is design. Please make something very simple like a new AK100 II.
Also, don't forget to put SD Card slots instead of micro SD slots! a lot of people prefer SD cards instead of micro SD cards.

a 1/4 inch headphone jack should be included along with 3.5 mm stereo jack as well.

sorry not, the power bottom works as hold bottom. did you find any smartphone has hold bottom ?

James, thank You for asking.

My smartphone's power button lock _all_ other buttons (or at least, I can configure it to do so).
In X5 case, vol+- is still unlocked (changing volume and tracks) - so I'm not able to use the player when riding bicycle (X5 in the pocket).
So:
- hold (slide) - best solution ever! (ipod, iphone, ibasso, iriver and other companies solution)
- power (lock _all_ buttons) - good (but locking button "sensitivity" gets important to avoid acidental unlocking)
- no possibility to lock _all_ buttons = me not buying X7 (and already sold X5 because of it).

Forgot to mention the obvious: my smart-phone has "slide-to-unlock" mechanism.
If You planning this function in X7 - it will make me happy! - and no "hold" button/slider is required it that case.

Technically they tend to be a bit faster and generally less expensive than microSD. Personally I don't mind. I haven't had the horror stories happen to me that others here seem to have suffered through.......

Why RAFA? What do you want those ugly oversized things for?

D3Seeker answers it very well. Also there are 256 gb SD-Cards.

If most people rather want a microSD, I will have to live with it :)

I'm sure nobody on this planet can hear down to 5Hz or up to 50kHz.
