I currently have a Fiio E17 and a DT 990 Pro 250 ohm. I absolutely love this combo! The problem is I want something that I can use at work and need something that doesn't leak like the DT 990 does. So my question is what closed headphone can I get that would sound the closest to the DT 990 Pro? I tried the DT 770 80 ohm, but it didn't have the soundstage or the pop in the upper end that the DT 990 does. Would I have better luck with the DT 770 250 ohms/32 ohms? Another note is I love how the DT 990s feel. It is like wearing a cloud on my head! What do you guys recommend?

I am thinking the same thing. The issue I am having is I can't decide whether to go 32 ohm or 250 ohm. Am I going to have trouble with the velour pads leaking? Then again from what I have read the 32 ohm doesn't sound great on the E17, but may not need it at all. I am willing to amp if necessary, but obviously it is more convenient if it is not needed.

Has anyone directly compared the 32 and 250 ohm models?

Also would I kick myself if I got a pair of COPs?
