sony mdr-7506 for $40... worth it?

Well... I got some superlux 668bs of amazon and when i got them my head was to big for them (lol). My dad has a pair of barley used sony mdr-7506s hes willing to sell to me for $43. Should i get these or other headphones at this price. I mostly listen to dubstep and other techno music. So... is $43 for these headphones a good deal.

Find out where he got them because there are a lot of fake Sonys.

Edit: With your music, HA-S500 is a better choice at that price.

The MDR-7506 are one of the better headphones in that price range, and they are probably the most solidly built in terms of durability. But as Claritas pointed, the JVC HA-S500 might suit your music genre choices better. They have more bass emphasis than the 7506.

Is there anything in the $70 range that is better for my needs
