Your statement -which I underline and make it bold- should be taken in to account for any newcomer.
B3 is a kind of IEM which is capable of growing with the 'ear-matureness' and equipment upgrades.
But it would be good to provide some source and amp matches, especially for those on the budget...
Everything is relative : I have spent last day or so searching for DSD256 "anything" - specially for the recorder. So far, only Merging Horus seems to be available :

If I *ever* hope to scrape together that kind of money for a recorder, I can not trifle money on amps, etc - can I ?
Here, the old saying about post (prices) holds more than true: Take care of the ounces, pounds will take care of themselves !
As for the Havi B3 Pro Old Version - on a well done sound of a recent(ish) movie, they are capable of fooling you of "being there". That realistic. It is impossible to expect a low priced amp to hold candle to the Havi - loud ; maybe yes - real high resolution - most unlikely.
But nothing would please me more than being proven wrong. Except, for the above reason, I can not participate in the hunt for the inexpensive commercially available amp. For those who can solder - please see my previous post(s).
