Havi B3 Pro-1 Impressions Thread

  Hey bro!
So what did you like better your GR07BE or the Havi's? Curious :p
(can't watch the vid now)

tbh honest now, i've only had these for two weeks.

i like both but for different reasons.

the gr07be are much easier to find a tip that fits and works (adjustable nozzle helps) and its smaller too so it fits easier in my ear.

but in terms of sound, i prefer the more vshaped gr07be (its more exciting and the bass quality seems to be similar to the havis, tight, and fast) but more full bodied. and it does have more energy in the treble.

but the soundstage on the havis just crush the gr07be (its bigger, wider, has better depth and layering) and more 3D sounding. the vocals so far are just so lush and inviting (and so detailed down to the microdetails). and the treble is well extended with no drastic roll off or anything

technically both are superb (so its just down to preference)

imo if the gr07be has the mids of the havis and the soundstage. i could easily buy it in a heartbeat, no questions asked! Take my money!

these chinese companies are just remarkable, i can't wait to see how the xe800s fair to gr07 owners, as it seems to the next best thing (plus its in white, i can't resist anything white)

I'm getting some magic from the FXD80 tips. B3 seems to love these tips like the CKR9.

That's weird. I hate my JVC FXD80 tips, lol. They are uncomfortable and don't seal... They would fit the Havi though. Because I tried the Auvio tips, which are more comfortable & have a wide bore, with the Havi & they fit well on both iems. I had/have comfortability issues in varying degrees with the EPH-100, FXD80, and B3 sadly... :/  I guess 5.5-6mm nozzles don't like my ears. I can't wear the B3 for more than two hours, and that's stretching it.

Well, the tips are very comfortable to me and the large ones sit in my ear just fine. Soundstage is wide and gives a nice extra boost to the sub-bass. More important, however, is that the details are just spatacular with these tips. Lots of clarity with a decently wide soundstage. Like I do with my CKR9, I push the tips all the way down onto the nozzle to get the tips to work effectively.

I don't think that you got into your IEM search until pretty recently, but you sure ended up picking some winners (well, at least the first two - I'm not familiar with the Narmoo's). So I think you done good!

Now... back to modding those Mikros 90's!
