Havi B3 Pro-1 Impressions Thread

Aug 8, 2014 at 2:24 AM Post #1,396 of 4,032
I had an issue twice with a scoop on the right ear from about 350-900 from what I could hear. I have up on returning as international post from aus becomes a bit prohibitive so have taken to modding and messing with my second pair. I love them now...

Sorry I did not elaborate, it's like around those frequencies you mentioned on one side connected straight to my iPhone 4S. I'll check on other sources and report back later. Thanks n05ey

I think I just reached my iemnirvana :)

Havi b3 pro1 + dx90 (Lurker FW) + Topping NX1

Bases were not that strong before while retaining the airy atmosphere. Neutral it was, neutral still. And I love it :)

Çok iyi oldu bu!

One more question!

Are the Havi basically flatter than the Tenore and harder to drive?

I also have the GR07 first verison as another point of reference

I had a great time listening to Havi last night with some ambient music. Switching back to Studio V the imaging on these earphones is quite unique, I can see how some thought went into the housing design and driver placement as the end result offers a grand stage (with the right source), good depth on the center channel and especially accurate imaging, far better than many other earphones I've heard, and especially at this price range. Strangely enough the imaging isn't quite as precise with DX50 unit, so it might be in conjunction with the Hisound and Havi synergy.

Do Havi and HS Studio V have great synergy?
Can HS drive Havi at fuul potential?

What do you mean as "flatter" ? They are harder to drive. Their profile is similar in some ways to gr07 but definately larger.

Yes, Studio V and Havi B3 pair well together, I think I like it more than DX50 now.

Separation between both earphone and player is clean. The Hisound players have a specific house sound, when you listen to an earphone you're partly (more than usual) taking in the Studio as well, really pushes through to the earpiece. I was listening to Cassandra Wilson last night with Havi quite late while laying down , I tried many other earphones, some cheaper, some more expensive, none of them produced this song / albums deep natural atmosphere quite like Havi B3 and Studio V.

Havi B3 reminds me of a GR07 a little bit, the naturalness and timbre just give off a specific vibe which is excellent for laying down absorbing music and ambience.

The soundstage is impressive as well, really spacious and 3D like, make some of my other gear sound narrow and compressed.

They're simply a very good earphone, Baycode is right on the money.

@Wokei

Congrats on your order friend, you will really like the Havi B3.

I was wondering when you would come around on the Studio + B3 combination. This Havi B3 train is like dominos...one falling after another.

Well, of course there are limitations, If I was to listen to my Rhapsodio hybrid or ER4S they're going to have more detail and clarity , but still didn't produce that Cassandra Wilson song above with a natural dynamic vibe of Havi, There's so much more to music / sound quality than a wack to the face of clarity, detail, Havi have that something special, a good balance of everything.

You couldn't of picked up your Studio at a better time imo,
