Has anyone e-mailed Rocky at Dunu and suggested this? Even if they didn't change anything else but made the cable removeable, they could call it the Dunu DN-2500!

I would definitely get one!
Cheers!

Nice idea to made another edition.

So far I didn't receive that kind of message. Mostly you can image are review inquiries lol.

We understand  removeable cable is important for Hi End model. And we do plan to apply removeable cable on DN-3000 possibly release next year.

Thanks Rocky, that would be great!  Just don't change the drivers too much!

yeah, even it could be DN-2K-R.........

hmm, just a glimpse...... 1/3rd of 2014 gone and I dont see any progress for portable cans against what I thought it would be by now, like from vsonic for example. They still digging the old mine for a little while(gr07-be,ce) since jan. Hope x1 will shine its badge as scheduled by james.only thing we were able to witness by lately(end of 2013) was AT's good and promising lineup of dynamic and BA based iem's with removable cables. Ibasso did some justice thru dx90,same goes to fiio x5.......(phew calyx M is not a budget pro dap but yeah it deserves to be in the list....truth be told :D) on a side note chinese brands like don scorpio, xiaomi, etc grabbed some attention and paved their wayhere in our community besides their native market space.

Does anyone have both the H-300 and DN2K to do a proper A/B?  I think @svyr does.  Would you mind doing a more extensive A/B comparison?  Or are the differences so apparent that people's impressions from memory are generally accurate.  I'm just wondering if it's worth it to purchase a DN2K if you already own an H-300 and vice versa.

From what I remember vs the T-PEOs H300s, the H300s win in bass, clarity, detail retrieval and treble extension. DN2Ks take everything else.

Particularly, I'm having trouble reconciling statements like this (sorry - not trying to single you out!) with what seems to be the general consensus from people who've heard the H-300 that from memory, the DN2K is the better IEM.

Do you find that you defend flawed products often after you've purchased them?

As I said, for most of us, a wild treble spike in an expensive IEM is a deal-breaker.

Well I bought the T-Peos regardless of the treble spike because most people are just pansies and overexagerate. I normally have my treble up a good deal on my headphones and earphones anyway. So I'm not particularly worried.
