i decided to get a new headphones for gaming
 
i will be using it at gaming and movies 60% gaming 30% movies and 10% music
 
it has to be comfortable
 
i play all genres of games but mostly FPS(bf4 and titanfall next month)
 
i can only buy from  amazon.com
 
also i need a sound card that can deliver surround sound

My post count is low but I'd recommend the HE-400s at this prioce point

As long as ou're not mixing / mastering and looking for a neatral set of cans you cant go wrong with HE-400s at $300

 i meant 300$ for both sound card and headphones
 
but if the HE-400 is very good what sound card you recommend?

Asus essence st / stx

1. Headphones don't have surround sound, they're purely stereo
 
2. Any headset that has surround sound comes with their own sound card usually in form of USB dongle
 
3. Audio technica AD-900X, this is an open back headphones where you will be able to hear your surrounding perfectly and they can hear what's playing on your headphone too.
 
4. As far as sound card goes, it kind of depends what kind of motherboard you have. These days, on board sound from the motherboard is already pretty good and doesn't generate a lot of better sound compared to internal sound card. What I would recommend you is to get an external AMP + DAC or just a DAC
