I am having sound problems with the current iOS 10 public beta. Streaming Tidal, Spotify or using FLACPlayer to Hugo then after a while the music slows down and a clicking sound is overlaid. Has anyone else noticed this? If so I can stop worrying about it.

Thanks, Ian

Pretty much the same
It's summer, it's not cold!
The same of last year!
Do your Hugo get hot? Mine it is. Very

Had mine for a year and a half, still stays cool.  Might warrant an e mail to Chord to inquire about it.

I don't have a Hugo but I do have a Mojo.

Here is the simplest solution to keeping the Mojo cooler, and the physics will apply equally well to the Hugo.

To maximise the cooling, you need to allow the maximum surface area of the Hugo, to be accessible to a cooling air flow - If you have your Hugo placed flat on your table, then one of the two large flat areas is facing the table top, and not really experiencing any air flow.

I suspect that your problems too are caused by the high summer temperatures.
Try standing your Hugo on one of its sides.
If this solves your problem, it is a lot less hassle that returning your Hugo to Chord.

I think the Mojo generally operates warmer than a Hugo.  I've seen discussion about keeping the Mojo cooler, but in my experience there is never any heat generated by the Hugo.  Then again, I only use it in an air conditioned environment!

I take mine out, never an issue of heat generation. Granted it's not Death Valley or anything.

The larger surface area of Hugo allows it to dissipate heat better than Mojo. When it is warm here in Singapore on weekends (which is almost always the case) and I get too lazy to bring a bag I usually put on my cargo shorts and bring Hugo instead of Mojo when I leave the house.

Mojo just gets too warm when it touches my skin so I had to bring a bag and put it inside if I bring it along with me outside the house.

But then in Dubai, it's warmer. No it's scorching hot.

I carry my Mojo everyday with me. Works fine in the summer even.

I have recently acquired a Hugo. I struggle a little with the light codes, so have typed out the information from the tiny writing of the manual and stuck it on the wall. If anyone would like a .docx or .pdf version, PM me.
