Hello, I bought the Beyerdynamic MMX 300 to use with my PS4 alongside my Astro MixAmp but ever since I started using them I've heard crackling of sorts, I also found that if a song that I was listing too raised in pitch or anything they would crackle. It started out barely noticeable but somehow it has seemed to get worse, it has also seemed to occur mostly in the right ear. Recently, I got done playing Battlefield and went to the home screen of my PS4 and now I can hear quiet/moderately sounding crackles in the left ear no matter what is played. I sent a return ticket on Amazon and the seller replied that I could return them. He also said to include the RMA number in which I guess its a number form Beyerdynamic to show that they are really broken if I'm understanding this right. Can someone tell me how I should go about getting this RMA number? Should I just tell them my headphones are broken ask ask for my RMA number? Do I have to send them back to Beyerdynamic to get my RMA number? Appreciate all help I can get. I'm very aggravated due to waiting to get this headset for awhile, going through a long hassle having them shipped, getting ready to enjoy some good sound for this to happen

Try a different digital cable.  Fibre optic ports are painful.  Have you tried another headphone?
