Dont use that crap bag, better get a pelican box or some hard plastic container. I throw many earphones in my bask pack and it ends up messed up.

Yeah he says he didn't use it. That bag they give you is a bit crap though, its cheap and barely big enough to fit them in it.

Yes it is but for $120 Dollars I like it as much as my $900 Dollar earphones but that one came with a better container.

  IM50s...Despite it being a great value for money, after a week or so, one side stopped working.
...Just trying to check if anybody has the same problem or is it just me. 
 
P.S: My friend got one also and the same thing happened. Durability issue??????? I kept them rather safe considering that after use i put them back into the casing.

And I definitely handled my IM50 with care.
 
It's most likely manufacturing defect, because I've used cheaper earphones before and none of them broke down in a few weeks like the IM50, even when handled under harsher conditions.
 
So far, the IM50 I had received from the warranty exchange has been working fine, though I am unsure about the future.

I have the IM70s and I must say they are fantastic. Once I found a tip that gives a good fit and seal I prefer the sound to my previous favourite Shure SE215LTDs.
 
As for durability, no problems so far and the fixed cable connectors seem much stronger than the 360 degree rotating Shure ones. I treat my earphones like sh!t, shove them in my bag, use them for running, cycling, gym etc and basically consider them disposable. If they break within a year I'll warranty them, if they last more than a year then break I buy some new ones without a second thought. Maybe a bad batch of the IM50s?

The IM70 certainly make the 215 sound muddy to my ears. I think the IM70 are built like a tank compared to my other iems ... looks like they will last a long time.
I don't need to baby these like I do with my IE800s which just seem so delicate ... and my Sony H3 just feels like they'll get scratched even if you looked at them the wrong way.
I love the way the IM70 sound while walking outside .. it's very dreamy IMO ... especially for female vocals and when used outside. 
Also these are the easiest IEMs to put on and get the same position and seal everytime without having to fiddle around with them while walking around.

They sounded terrible

Went home and used the complys my brother uses with his sony sport earphones
They still didn't sound as good as the silicon tips...
But better than the complys that came in the box - hmm

Read through the whole thread
Some recommended tips seem to be the one for Fidelio series? The Sony Hybrids? UE900s?

Anything else?

I tried the VSonic Noise Isolation tips, they work, but for comfort issues, i went back to my Sony Hybrids. Doubt there's anything better.

Glad you brought it up. I wrongly assumed that the Comply tips would be the best, that's why I didn't bother to bring along the stock tips with me when I left for work overseas and found out later that Comply tips don't suit my ears at all. They indeed sound terrible and I had to keep pushing them deeper into my ears to get a bit of bass but doing so hurts my ears and I couldn't stand them any longer than 30 minutes. Luckily I still have a dozen spare tips with me including a whole set of Sony hybrids but it took me more than 2 weeks to finally find the right match to my ears. It comes as a surprise to me that the one that actually provides the best seal and comfort to my ears are the flimsy looking semi-transparent tips from the crappy Sony earphones that came with my Sony Smart Wireless Headset Pro set.

I have tried every size of Sony hybrids on my IM70 and I found none of them gives a good seal to my ears but Sony hybrids seems to give perfect seal to my ears on my Mi Piston 2.  So my conclusion are:
 
1. what is good for me may not be good for others as everyone has a different size and shape of ear canals.
2. what is good on one IEM may not be good on other IEM.
