Hi everyone!

I was wondering if there were any producers that travel frequently that have any good can/amp suggestions/combos.

I'm stepping up from my ah-m50 and have some new found insight into what I think I want.

1) Closed back. It gets noisy crowded when I'm trying to work sometimes.
2) Over ear is a must for long term comfort. He ones I have now just barely fit over the ear and I find I can't wear them for much more than an hour before I have to call it quits. I've tried on the hd-800's and they're perfect, size wise.
3) Mini jack a must. For banging out **** directly plugged to computer.
4) don't need super flat signater, as I have jh16's if I want to isolate sounds, but nothing on either extreme of the spectrum too.
5) I use a Saphire and fiio e12 that works as well as I can tell, any suggestions otherwise?

Thanks ahead for any info, I appreciate it!

Sent from your moms room with love.

i just got pair of UE6000, don't know of you would want to produce with them but EDM sounds great especially with the noise-canceling on. I feel like that feature is more just a built-in amp because it really gives the whole sound a boost and makes it sound more rich (not just bass), it does kill some ambient noise but I can still here most external sounds with volume off. they would travel great because they fold nicely and come with a zipper case. down side is that you can't amp them since the ANC circuit is an amp, everything just sounds off if you do. also, the memory foam earpads are super comfortable.

i haven't heard these yet but from what I gather you might like AKG K550, or one of its similar models K551 or K545. K550 earcups are huge, and they fold flat but don't fold up so not sure if yu could travel with.

depends on how you travel…

Literally plane train and automobile, lol. Usually flying but I drive sometimes as well.

No noise canceling for me, I'll look into the akg series but I've tried the 701 and not too big on the sound signature of those.

They don't need to fold or anything, my suitcase is more gadgets than clothes and I'll get rid of even more for good sound
