I'm having a hard time deciding the best amp to pair up with my AKG K340's ( I have 2 pairs ). I am trying to get the best I can for under $500.00 and have been considering Schiit, Darkvoice, La Figaro, Little Dot... I keep hearing they are difficult to properly drive. Any recommendations, preferably if any of you also have AKG K340's. Thanks in advance.

You need a monster amp in terms of power.

Grab stuffs like Lyr or any amps that have similar power.

Hello  friend.
I have an amplifier "matrix m stage" moves at a very acceptable level (+18 dB gain), however far to give their best, it's weird, because I connect to a receiver "aiwa" Japanese, and sound with much more strength and authority, I'm not sure yet to hear even 100%, but I'm satisfied.

I leave a video link.

Thank you for the video, I know spanish so I understood it. Glad you like these headphones, I love them so much that I got a second pair when I was able to find it at a good price to have as a backup just in case something happens to the other pair. It would be nice to see you compare the 3 headphones you have in the video and see which you like best and why. It is funny you were playing Daft Punk as I think that album sounds really good on these AKG K340's. I listened to your video of the 340's through my 340's.

I'm glad you liked the video, you see, no longer have their original league, after 30 years, they were well worn and loose, however I made the mod suspenders, very homely and cheap, if you understand Spanish you leave a tutorial to change leagues prepare myself in a place where you really write often.
