As I am new here I can't really get a big historical picture but would it be safe to assume since there is a 250 page thread, the AUNE T1 is a Head Fi Consumer Choice DAC (in its price range and weight class of course) ?
 
I know there are better (there is always a better) but sometimes a product comes along that punches above its weight class and becomes popular as to price/function/all around good choice - especially for someone new to DAC's...
 
Thoughts ? (BTW..yes, I have one and love it but wondered how the group felt)
