Just to let people know (if not already), I read on the official Chinese forum of iBasso, and it appears that the international buyers will get to buy their DX90 before the people in the mainland gets to (that's a few less people to compete with  )

If we're all buying from the first batch... That's worse for us mainlanders

How is the DX90 with the HE-560? Can it be driven to great potential?

What does surprise me is that using the Dx90 at a volume of 240 getting the HE560 pretty loud, they do not distort, meaning the internal amp isn't running out of steam. It is like iBasso has built you a really, really great dac section and a really, really great amp section or you have a stacked unit all in the same place, for once.

With the Fostex TH900 I am back down to around 210, some times higher sometimes lower, depending on the music and the sound is wonderfully open and detailed with very fine layering and imaging. I have mentioned this before but the 90 is able to keep instruments or voices in their place and yet the dynamics roll without any muddiness in the frequency/sound. Nothing smothers other areas of the recording. In using the line out, this maintains, meaning to me that the dac section is superb and that the internal amp section can keep up with it.

Pretty sure iBasso made it easy "First come, first serve" and the famous saying "Early birds get the worms" applies.

Don't want to instill competition here but you better get up early that day!

To paraphrase, the early bird also gets the bugs

Jamato, is there some differences between dx50 (1.2.8) and dx90 (2.0) firmware? Maybe visual bug correction, or new informations like the track year?

I was choosing between DX90 and M. What finally made me place the pre-order on DX90 were
1. the removable battery which guarantees long-lasting listening pleasure, life of device, and the shipment convenience for modding or warranty service as lithium battery need not to be involved.
2. the foreseeable balance output mod.
And Jamato's early impressions were out of question the last straw! Can't wait to hear it and share.
