ok, go into Settings/USB Settings and click on Storage to make sure that your DX90 is ready to talk to your mac osx. Do not turn your DX90 off prior to connecting it to mac. Connect your DX90 to your mac. See if you get directories to open on your DX90
I'm not a mac guy, and in any event you have the boss on the job now
Since it says "USB connected" on the DX90 and shows it on the desktop, what happens when you try to drag and drop music on it? Are you using a micro SD card? If so, it should also show up on you desktop. There will be 2 folders, one for the internal memory and one for the card. You should be able to just drag and drop files into either folder.
Did you do a factory reset on the DX90? I use a Mac, the DX90 shows up and I drop the .img file onto the DX90. I always do a factory reset when changing anything on the DX90. Click on the DX90 when on the desktop and go to info and see how much space it is showing on the DX90 out of curiosity.
lhamp, as per jamato8's post above, how much space is the DX90 showing on the mac desktop when you connect it up?

I'm glad to see that he got more in stock. He was sold out the last time I checked. Since these batteries are from a 2012 production run, I would imagine the available number is limited.
For posts 2 pages ago about scanning microSD cards speeds..So my microSD is 114gb filled out of 119gb and it scanned in about one minute...Does that mean my DX90 is special? Lol jk, but it is strange how we all have different scan speeds
40% FLAC level-5 compression
60% MP3 320kbps
90% of resolution art is 500x500 or less
Didn't work… i put the update on the card, then scanned the card. "System Update" isn't an option in advanced settings. So i'm assuming the unit isn't reading it.
When you trash files from the card folder on a mac, you need to empty the mac trash, otherwise the files don't delete. I had that problem until someone on here tipped me off
