I caught a cold and have a running nose and blocked sinuses. Is it possible that it's affecting my bass perception when listening to music through headphones?
Cause suddenly everything just has to much treble and sibilance to it no matter what headphones I use and what kind of music I listen to.

yes. because your ear drum is not moving as much due to the pressure. it will either clear up or require medical intervention.

Allergies, sinus, and every sickness can limit your hearing. Hell, even mood, weather conditions and time can affect sound perception...
