Hello!

I am currently looking at the Beyerdynamic DT-770 PRO and I am wondering if you guys like them. According to reviews I've read they aren't that bad and they meet my criteria. I am looking for closed headphones so I don't disturb others with leakage when I commute and I would prefer some isolation as well for when I am working. I also prefer an emphasis on bass I just don't want anything else to be buried. I usually listen to indie (Monsters and Men, Mumford and Sons), house/trance/etc (Infected Mushroom, Astrix), and rock (Queen, Dropkick Murphys). I currently own Studio Beats (I know they aren't great but they were a gift) and most of my songs sound fine on them but I am looking for an upgrade. I just don't know which version of the DT-770 to get. The 250, 32, or 80 omh? I will be plugging these into my ipod, computer, etc. Also, are they comfortable? I will be using these for extended periods of time.

If these headphones need an amp, could you recommend one please? I will be purchasing these from amazon.

If you have any other suggestions or need additional information then please let me know.

Thanks!!!

They pretty much meet your criteria, but are you planning to use them on the streets? those things are bulky.

Check out the JVC HA-S680, more portable then the DT770s
and should work fine plugged straight into the iPod.
