I am interested in both these but there isn't a ton of info and reviews out there. I actually am more interested in the Calvin Harris XC model of matter tracks vs the monitors

Thoughts?

I have heard the Master Tracks and Monitors.  I was hoping to be able to get my hands on the new XC model, but no such luck it seems :/  I can tell you that the Monitor are definitely ahead of the Master Tracks.  Can't comment on the XC model unfortunately.  It's been stated that the XC model is supposed to be an over ear version of the Tracks Ultra, but I can't confirm this.  If that statement is true, then I'd definitely place the XC model ahead of the Monitor.  Unfortunately, I can't confirm it, so it's still taking a chance.

Neither brand is really that popular on Head-Fi, so I'm not sure if you'll get a lot of hits here from users that have both models.

Well I was really impressed in what I have heard from the Master tracks, but only got to listen to the store demo, not my music.

The monitors seem to be built great, compact, have one entry on the headphone (which I love) and not a Y splitter like the Sol's. But haven't heard them. And don't know anywhere that carries them locally.

Is neither brand popular here because of the products they've made in the past?

Imo, a good headphone is a good headphone, although some may not see it that way.
