Old Headphone that I just broke
All in all, this headphone gave me what I was looking for.
It had great noise cancellation, everytime my dad came distract me and talk random things I couldnt hear him at all (althought that was only when I had my volume high, otherwise I could still hear him, bleh ;P)
They were not confortable using for long periods, my ears got very hot, starts to press almost seeming like burning the top of my head, but even so, confort is not a priority and I could live just fine with that. It wasnt as unbreakable as I needed it to be, clearly ;P
When I had to go back to my old sennheiser HD 201, it was weird that the same song just literally felt like a different song. Also could notice how much detail the SHURE had overall, althought bass (is that it?!) didnt felt right in them, seemed better on the HD 201, at least for me..
The ****ty thing about the HD 201 was that it seemed like the max volume was 30% of what SHURE's were, I was like What does this have to do with headphone ?!

So all in all this is what I'm looking for:

I will use them while I work. I work from home, and I have adhd, so even the slightest things distract me. I'm looking to mostly block completly other people's talking sound, amongst other things.

So basically all around geared towards listening eletronic music, as I'm looking to get more into DnB, Techno, Dance, House Music. And one of my fav genres is raping the replay button on any type of movie/anime original soundtrack.

Hard to break, close to undamageble wires (at least the best possible). Because I'm very clumsy and find ways to break everything. Would be good if the wire was quite lengthy (not sure if using 2euros extension can diminish quality, which is what im using) or being usb input or something.

Was looking towards fiio e17, but since I dont need them to be portable maybe there are better choices, looking advice here too (and how it should match your recommended headphones). so it would be good to get headphones that are gonna get an improved quality with an dac and amp

[*] No need of being portable, using it at home.

When trying to do a bit of research (and looking at http://www.head-fi.org/a/headphone-buying-guide ), I came up with the following ideas
Since I'm looking for people's talking noise isolation type, its much better to go for
IEM's (right?), also nice that they would be more confortable to wear during long hours/hard to break (althought I'd be worried about wires).
But its hard to think of IEM's as a huge sound quality (proobs me being a noob), so I was thinking of also getting Open headphones for amazing sound quality and best usage with DAC/AMP.

So two choices would be:

Getting a Budget/Entry Level Headphones IEM's, getting Fiio E17 (or something else ) either right away or not long after (depending on cost of IEM's), and then more close to Christmas (I heard they start dropping price a bunch for headphones on that season, correct?) getting an [UPPER?] Mid-Range Open Headphones focusing on amazing quality to get eargasms ;P  (http://www.amazon.co.uk/Fischer-Audio-Headphone-Multifunction-Microphone/dp/B008QUGT9C/ref=cm_cr_pr_product_top ?)

Other option would be IEM's taking care of all my needs (or an Closed Headphone), so getting right away a Mid-Range ones (up to 300$) and maybe get an amp close to Christmas

Got Advice?

Q > so I was thinking of also getting Open headphones for amazing sound quality and best usage with DAC/AMP.

A> Response in blue,for now.
Semi Open type: budget bang for the buck
1) Superlux HD 681/668B

Open Dynamic type: with AMPs,since u prefer them as well...
1) Grado SR60/80
2) Sennheiser HD 600
3) Beyerdynamic DT-990

So two choices would be:
Getting a Budget/Entry Level Headphones IEM's, getting Fiio E17 (or something else )
for the cost of E17(US$139),you can stretch ur budget a little and invest on FiiO/Ibasso DAPS (MP3/FLAC player with Wolfson DACs and powerful HP Amp,EQ all built-in)

For a high isolation IEM, I'd recommend the Shure SE215. They're usually about $100. I just recently bought them, and they have a sound signature somewhat similar to the V-Moda M100 (that I also have). They're great for EDM/Trance.
I'm using the included Shure Olives, and the isolation is amazing. In some cases I feel they're almost too good for what I need, but oh well..

@suman134

why cheap? also I was looking for IEM for the reasons stated in OP (unless i get a closed headphone that covers all aspects, but for that price i doubt it, no?)

@Shawn71
well the open headphones would be more for an future purschase to cover what i'd be missing with IEM's, just to have it planned right now

"FiiO/Ibasso DAPS"  you mean this? http://www.amazon.co.uk/FiiO-X3-Portable-MP3-Player/dp/B00DQBWY04/ref=sr_1_fkmr1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1384455838&sr=8-1-fkmr1&keywords=Ibasso+DAPS
Its not just a bit more ;P its 50% more, also I have don't have much need of mp3 as stated in OP, would it rlly be worth it? havent seen many ppl recommending that

@nehcrow
"Yamaha EPH-100  GR07 Bass Edition"
thx,
Do they fit very well with my other requirements, other then trance music?
Because like I said in OP, if i was to go with the more expensive IEM it would have to. I'm guessing it has amazing sound (how does it compare to the Shure SRH 440, any idea?), but what about the other things?
Would they get improved performance with DAC/AMP ?

Was looking also for advice if I was doing the right plan. Is IEM's (now) + DAC/AMP (short-term) + Future (300$+) Open Headphones the way to go for what Im trying to get?

# well you stated "[*] No need of being portable, using it at home". So my posts on semi open/open to use indoors.
## There are seperate review/impressions/appreciation thread for both(FiiO X3/IBasso dx50) here. Since you being new bie on portable rigs I commended a all-in-one solution to make it simple.else you need to piggy back the mp3 source and DAC/HP amp,bulky, keep both batteries charged to use them together blah blah. Also the DAPs serves the purpose of using it just a DAC(LO) or AMP(IN) and combo.

And it looks like your immediate interest is on an IEM+DAC/Amp.So, from what you lookin, below are some comments........

Mate, this is what I would do if I were you.......invest on a DAP for us$200-$240 totally replacing the DAC/HP amp and MP3 source. And buy a mid-tier hybrids like T-Peos,Dunu that would be between us$150-200 summing up my total investment on my portable rigs to us$350-400.
Fit issues are not a show stopper as we have plenty of options for after market silicon tips/foams from sony,shure,comply........our ear canals aren't london tubes(no offense) just a small diameter of 3mm-7mm?so finding it is'nt a big bargain, even you can try from other IEMS mix & match.
Then after some time you can invest on any HPs that you would be done the ground work already by that time.

Hope this helps you some extent or it's fullest

it's absolutely your PP.
