So I have a bit of an odd request - I need an external USB sound card with a good ADC (24 bit / 96khz) that works with a Macbook Pro. My use case is that I'm testing an audio device that has an 1/8" TRS out, and I want to record in the best quality possible so that I can debug issues with the sound output of my audio device.

The only good one I've found with a line-in is this: http://www.asus.com/Sound_Cards_and_DigitaltoAnalog_Converters/Xonar_U7/, but there have been many reports of it not working with OS X 10.6 or higher.

Any other suggestions, good people of Head-Fi?
