I know someone mentioned Justin from Headamp coming to some of these, does anyone know him and want to message him about the meetup so he can try to plan and be there?

I'm going to make an attempt to be at this one....we'll see if I can't keep my schedule from filling up this time. :)

I'm planning on bringing my C4S modified WA3+ with an assortment of tubes and an i20.
If I can get it completed on time, I'll also bring a KSA-5 clone (just started ordering parts).
...and my HD558.

I'm looking forward to listening to others' setups and sharing mine. :)

Looks like my wife and I will be able to make it.  I didn't think she'd want to make the hour+ drive, not to mention hangout with Head-Fi geeks for hours... but because I grew up about a five-minute walk from that library, she's curious to see that area again.  And when she's bored she will wander off into the library and be quite happy

So, I'll bring:

Cans
  1. HiFiMAN HE-500 (pad and grill mods; stock velour pads); stock and plusSounds cables
  2. AKG Q701 (bass port foam mod; custom headband); stock and Redco Mogami cables
  3. AKG K550 (stock)
  4. Grado SR-225 (pre-'i'); stock and yellow Sennheiser pads (may be modding the latter soon); Grado 1/4" to 1/8" converter cable

If people are interested, I can bring my two Phiaton half-in-ear 'phones (PS 210 & PS 20).  BYOE (Bring Your Own Earbuds)

  1. Schiit Lyr w/at least three pairs of tubes; AudioQuest interconnect

I mentioned it to him and this was the reply...

<"thanks for letting me know, there's actually an Austin, TX meet on that date i was planning to go to. i will have to try to go to both somehow"

Thanks,
Justin>

I'm really looking forward to hearing his GSX-MK2 this time around if he comes. Missed it the last time being a noobie, I went right past it straight to his BHSE/Stax combo which was awesome.

Barring any catastrophe, I'll be bringing the Mjolnir, LCD-3 ( designed 1/13, would love to sample past editions for variations in bass quality), HD-650, Asus Essence One Muses Edition, standard and balanced cables for both cans and a laptop.
