Hello all !
I bought the grey Senheisser Amperior at 220 euros for my nomad use with a Nexus 4 and sometimes PC on Amazon.fr after quite a search on the forum, Innerfidelity test, Headphonia, the tests amazon.fr, amazon.com but I have the impression that all the testers were paid by Senheiser wants to give the buyer to purchase the Amperior which I was greatly disappointed that made me mad !
I compared it with my Audio Technica AD700 (that I use for gaming who's very good for music is also not so accurate it to hear footsteps but this is off topic) and Amperior feels so veiled and muddy in comparaison. This closed can lacks so much of aeration and natural sound .
I compared my ****ty Amperior with a simple 50euros black Marshall Major this inexpensive headphone was really excellent in bass and medium compared to my Amperior. In comlparaison my Amperior lack of low end, bass, medium clarity and overall worse SQ !!
It's unique qualities were the accuracy of each sound track in the mix and a very good overall dymanic. But all that good to me I did not want a flat too neutral headphone with monitoring sound.
I want a very "fun" headphone for enjoy the music which is bass emphasis because i'm a basshead with a lot of excellent bass/low end and excellent medium and high.
I read on forum the denon D1100 has very fun SQ with a lot of bass like sony MDR-XB100 and manufactured by Fostex and just the design was manufactured by Denon.
Denon D1100 and V-moda M100 share while both 50 mm driver and are closed can type with a low end emphasis and a lot of bass.
Denon have 5 Hz - 37 kHz and V-Moda M-100 have 5 Hz - 30 kHz . I read the analysis curves of the spectrum on french tests sites of two I saw that the V-moda crossfade EP (not the M100) had more low end and bass emphasis but i don't know for the M-100.
I want know between two who has the best overall SQ with low end emphasis and lot of bass thx !
Sorry for my poor english.
