Yep, HifiMan may be a great place to start for planar magnetic driver based headphones. Reasonably priced and sound great but like you said, it's made in China xD I myself is actually fine with Made In China products as long as they are designed somewhere as hehe

hey chinese designs aren't that bad!! But it just so happens that they're extremely similar to designs of extremely famous brands… *cough* fakes *cough*

Well, I'll let u guys know after I test the o2 and e12

probably this weekend.


The O2 and E12 can probably drive just about anything -
neither had any problems with my K702's, DT880 (250 ohms)
and other hard to drive headphones -
Nor does the O2 have any issues with the K712's -
or anything, for that matter.
 
IMO it's a nicer sounding amp than the E12;
both have plenty of power at reasonable prices
