Over the past few months, I have been meeting nothing but tire kickers. Let's begin.

Scenario 1:
Guy sends me an e-mail, saying he is SUPER excited to see the headphone I got on sale.
Sets up meeting time, gives me his number, talked for a while on the phone. Still seems super excited.
On the day of the meet-up, gives me nothing but excuses, first he wants to meet at 1pm, then it didn't work out, then 2pm, then 3pm, then eventually 6:30pm.
At 6:30pm, I waited for him for 15 minutes, called him and he won't answer the phone.
Texted him 5 minutes after that, and the text reply I got from him was "Won't make it"
Not even an apology for wasting my time.

Scenario 2:
Guy sends me his cell-phone number right away, stating something along the lines of "I will buy it today, call me, let's meet up"
I called him, he asked me questions, all was fine.
He said he'll meet me at 4pm. 4:10pm comes around, I heard nothing from him. i called him and he said "I can't make it, but let's set up a time for tomorrow".
I reply, "Sure, what time works for you?"
He replies, "I'll call you"
Morning comes around, no call.
I called him in the afternoon, won't even pick up my cell-phone.

Scenario 3:
Guy sends me an e-mail stating he wants to buy my headphone, in all broken english, and stating he doesn't like the colour, he doesn't like the price, but he "heard" it sounds good since it was a reputable company.
I reply along the lines of "Are you interested in buying if you don't like all that?"
I didn't get home until later on in the night.
When i got home, I got up to FIVE emails, with "Will you take $140? (When I listed $200)" , "$200 Firm PRICE?", "I really want the headphone please reply", "please reply, you are torturing me", "$140 is all I got".
So when I got home, I was stunned by the amount of e-mails.
He really seemed like he wanted it, gave me a phone number as well to contact him.
I called him and setted up a time and the price (around $160 of which he agreed to)
30 minutes before meeting up, He said he doesn't like the color, and will only pay $140.

Scenario 4:
Got an email from a guy, stating he loves the sound of the headphones and would could do $210 shipped to his location.
I agreed if he only did paypal confirmed address.
He said he only send interac e-transfer.
I agreed that I will accept that as well since I use that method too.
So I send him the email address he had to pay at.
He sends me an email stating, "Oh, I haven't tried the headphone before, so I will audition it tomorrow and let you know if I still want it"
The next day comes around, "Oh sorry, I love the sound of my Grado's better"

I am just ... stunned? I don't know any other words for it.
What are your experiences with tire kickers?

While I can sympathize with you, just wait until people start trying to scam you, they're the worst of all.

What?? What happened? :frowning2:

Sorry, I can't go into detail with that, as it would just provide the info on how to do it for those with the potential to be an unsavory lot. I have also seen lowballers cuss out sellers over $3, and that they won't sell their $900 amp for $400. If you can't afford the gear in the first place, then you have no right to treat people unjustly.
