And how did those henchmen become burly?
The answer is triceps dips.
Yep. Brannan's got some guns on him.

so here is my honest, unbiased opinion : i consider the noble products a tad hyped (i won't say overpriced as most TOTL iems are) , i consider the noble crowd sometimes verging on the 'fanboy sheep' mentality and i find ludicrous noble charging 1000$ for artwork.
however, kudos to dr moulton for being able to pull such a marketing trick and have people pay an extra 1000$ just for looks in a audio-based market , this is marketing genius at its best( too bored to find the leodicaprio photo)
Hey, if "hyped" means people talking about how much they authentically love a product then call me guilty!

Personally I think Dr John is a plant and his wife is the real Wizard. Or that could be because I caught an episode of Remington Steele.
Anyway, here are some of my thoughts on the subject. Just my 2 cents, really.
1) I do not recall anyone from Noble ever providing any hints regarding the Savant's driver count. It has been a "secret" all this while, no?
2) The number of drivers in an IEM shouldn't matter, anyway. Tuning is a far more important factor.
3) The breakdown of a product's cost in terms of its material value is not a good determinant of a product's worth. There are a myriad products on the market whose cost value in terms of its component parts is but a fraction of its retail cost.
4) Although there are people who aren't fans of the Savant, there are also people who thoroughly enjoy them. These people probably think that the product is worth its sticker tag - value is after all, subjective?
5) I have friends with custom K10 units, and these IEMs have been nothing short of amazing, in both build quality and design. My own K10 is astounding, to say the least. Hence, while I believe there are people who have received less than stellar Noble products (in terms of build), my own personal experiences with Noble's IEMs have been extremely positive.
6) I have yet to hear an IEM that bests the K10 at subjective parameters that I consider paramount to the enjoyment of my music. The other Noble products that I have auditioned (3, 4, 6, 8) were also decent-to-good in overall quality.
7) We're all here to discuss Noble, and earphones in general, so let's try to keep it amicable, and civil, at the very least. Let's not turn this discussion into a flame war.
Gotta stop taking vacations from this place. Was reading through and all of the sudden there's a picture of a savant broken open and I thought to myself, "this **** is about to get real."
Savant sounds great to me. I use it every day at work. I need to find some more comfortable tips, as the ones I'm currently using have grown uncomfortable, but I'm pleased with the sound.
