Hello all! new to Head-fi here. I recently purchased the ATH-M50's with the hopes of liking it 110% however I find that it doesn't suit my needs (EDM, progressive trance). These were not that comfortable for long periods and I like a punch of bass but not at the cost of quality of the other aspects in music. 
 
I then opted to try out Sennheiser HD-380-Pro and these also did not suit me, but these were extremely comfortable to wear. 
 
I have come across and read many threads here regarding the EDM genre type music.
- I do most of my listening through my Iphone/iMac/iTunes and mostly through Podcasts to be honest.
- I need headphones to be comfortable as I listen for extended periods of time 
- I'm looking for headphones that DO NOT leak as I am a student and tend to listen while studying in a library. 
- Preferably access to detachable/portable/in-line Mic controls as well
- Prefer NOT to use an Amp as I already have many many books/notes to carry around!
 
I have come across an Ultrasone Pro 900 for $325 brand new and was wondering if this is the best deal out there. My price range was $30 but if these are worth the extra $25 for longevity It will not matter.

The Ultrasone Pro 900 are great basshead headphones, but you'll want amp to get the most out of them.
