Just got my shiny new headphones, and I love them apart from one issue...
 
Does anyone get twisting across the top of the headband when wearing them? I'm not used to having to make sure I'm using a slide rule to put headphones on, but if I'm not careful they twist as per photo (or the other way, it seems the middle zone has quite a small margin of error).

Is there something wrong with them?
 
You also notice the glue between the padding and the headband is exposed. Really don't want to exchange, and I'm not sure what I'd replace them with if not another pair of these.

Well, that's weird. Seems like they are refurbs or probably a factory defect.  

Yea... I'm returning my K550s. The headband's cushion (w/e it's called) was falling off in the corner right out of the box. I can't say anything about the handband thing though. But the build quality isn't that of the M50s.

Thanks guys. I might take them back, and try a different pair, see if they have the same issue.
 
If they do, what is the most similar sounding closed back over/on ear headphone out there? Really love the sound.
