I'm going to get CIEMs, and since my budget isn't very high I can only afford either the Heir Audio 3.A or the Lear LCM 2 (I know there are more in a similar price range, this is just what I have narrowed it down to). I haven't seen any reviews on the LCM 2 only LCM 5 so I don't know how it sounds compared to the 3.A. The genre I mainly listen to is rock, not hard or metal but bands like Franz Ferdinand and Muse.

I'm not actually asking which one sounds better because it will most likely be the 3.A, the reason I am stuck between the two is because of the price difference. Getting the 3.A is more expensive so I won't be able to customise the shell in any way (just having one solid colour is very boring), but the Lear gives me much more since it doesn't cost anything to change the colours. Basically, the CIEMs I want to get is the LCM2 because it is cheaper and is more customisable, but I'm worried the change in sound quality would be drastic and it would be much better to get 3.A because I heard its one of the best entry level CIEMs out there.

I know it seems stupid that I can't decide just because of the colours but I honestly don't want to end up with a boring pair (in terms of looks) of CIEMs when I could have gotten almost as good (in terms of sound quality) CIEMs that looks much better.

Also one last thing is that, I don't know what the price is in other countries and some of you might suggest me to get the LCM3 since it might not be a big difference in price, but here the difference is big and I just can't afford it. I guess my budget is around USD550 since thats how much the 3.A will cost me including the cost of getting ear impressions (I don't live in the US but I'm just converting the currency for the sake of convenience).

Sorry if this post is too long or confusing.
