Ear Impressions for CIEM With Braces | Headphone Reviews and Discussion - Head-Fi.org

I am a bit worried about getting CIEMs right now. i'm about to graduate college. About 22 years old, so I am fully grown, but with braces, my mouth's structure moves a bit. I am wondering if this has an impact on the shape of the ear canal?

Just wondering as I have no idea about this subject and thought this may have came up before here on the forums.

Best bet would be to contact either the audiologist you plan to have the impressions taken at and discuss the situation with them, and/or contact the manufacturer you are thinking of ordering from and seeing what they think.

Even though I am 33 I have braces and I got several ciems and it did not cause a problem.
